When the streets fill up

Mira Road runs a dense festival calendar because the population is genuinely mixed. Ganeshotsav processions and immersion at the local artificial ponds close internal roads in Shanti Nagar, Beverly Park and Poonam Sagar for whole evenings, and Navratri garba in the society and open grounds makes late-night parking impossible for nine nights. Ramzan evenings and Eid bring heavy foot traffic and street stalls around Naya Nagar, and Jain Paryushan means many shops in the Gujarati-Jain pockets shut or go pure-vegetarian for about a week.
